About School Sports

School Sports is a website catering for parents, pupils and all parties interested in anything sports related at school level. We invite anyone to join in order to contribute results, reports and / or photos for any school sporting event held in South Africa.

All members who register on the site have the following benefits:

- Create your own online sport CV which you can keep up-to-date by adding to it as you reach for and achieve your sporting dreams! Sports scouts will be able to see your sports achievements and through School Sports you will receive a notification if a scout is interested in you what have achieved.

- Subscribe to various content. School Sports will send you an email notification of any new material posted, keeping you up to date with developments on the site.

- Comment on various content as a registered member. If you are logged in to School Sports you are able to comment on Match Reports and news items. This is to encourage healthy, constructive debate. Foul language, verbal bullying, uploading of inappropriate content, offensive sexual or cultural remarks or racial slurs will not be tolerated. Members who persist in posting these types of comments will be expelled from the site.

- If you are using social media like Facebook and Twitter you have the ability to share some of the content on the site with your friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Just click on the Facebook and Tweetme icons where they are available and follow the prompts.

- Participate in Live Chats - keep an eye out for celebrities and sports experts hosting discussions.

- Participate in Forum discussions - post a topic and others members can reply at their leisure.

- Send other members Private Messages

- Facebook-style Chat feature with whoever is online.

The only thing left for you to do is register on the site and you will be able to enjoy all these benefits!

Those who see themselves as budding reporters can use the contact form to apply to be a contributor to School Sports and you will be able to upload your match reports with pictures, create a blog for your followers to read and comment on and also add fixtures and events to the calendar.

Please note that users who behave inappropriately on this website can and will be expelled from using this service. Foul language, verbal bullying, uploading of inappropriate content, offensive sexual or cultural remarks or racial slurs will not be tolerated.
