  • The heatwave experienced in Cape Town on Saturday morning did not deter the Bishops U13A cricket side from notching up another victory this season when they were hosted at Wynberg. Having only lost to Peninsula Academy CC they are proving to be a well-oiled unit playing some very effective cricket.

  • On Saturday Wynberg hosted the Bishops U13A cricket team in the annual 50 over game between these two sides. 

  • Wynberg Boys Junior School U13A cricket captain Jordan Holgate has joined a very small and elite group of players from this school to reach a wonderful cricketing achievement.

  • Western Province Preparatory School travelled down the road to Wynberg Boys Junior School for a T20 fixture this afternoon.

  • Wynberg Boys Junior School's top cricket award went to U13A captain Jordan Holgate who lead the side with distinction this year.

  • Cape Town experienced another morning of indecisive weather as drizzle and winds gave way to wonderful sunshine in patches. There was nothing indecisive about the batting from SACS however as they weathered (excuse the pun) the early bowling onslaught from Mika Ekström and Kieran Adams.

  • In what can only be described as a thriller filled with twists and turns and unexpected incidents, this morning's U13 cricket match between hosts Kenridge Primary School and Wynberg Boys Junior School provided the spectators with plenty of entertainment.

  • With overcast, dark weather looming around Table Mountain, SACS U13A hosted Wynberg for a 20/20 game of cricket on Van Zyl field.

  • Wynberg U13A cricket side hosted a much-fancied Rondebosch team which included two of their three WP U13 Cricket representatives in captain Murray Commins and Dayyaan Galiem on Saturday morning. Wynberg proved beyond doubt that they had the measure of this side on the day and that their touring results had given the players huge self-confidence and belief as they proceeded to give Rondebosch a cricketing lesson.
