In conversation with a fellow youth cricket enthusiast a few days ago talk turned to the format of the games being played at the National Cricket Weeks. It was understood that the organizers want the boys to play all forms of the game during the week namely the Twenty 20 version, limited overs cricket and time cricket. It was felt however, that the boys would be better served by being placed under the mental pressure of playing in a knock-out format for their respective provinces.

WP Cricket have announced their age-group teams for 2011 to compete at various tournaments around the country during December:

SportScout offers Schools, Tertiary Institutions, Sport Academies the opportunity to scout some of the best sport talents from a central database.

The website thus offers the two parties a common place to discover one another and have a source of communication.

SportScout aims to give the best possible exposure to every young talented individual today who comes from the different varieties of sports and has the desire to succeed as an excellent athlete.
